#### 36 Arrest of persons who escape from custody If a person in custody under section 30, 33 or 34 in a State or Territory escapes from that custody, the person may be: (a) arrested in the same way as anyone who escapes from lawful custody may be arrested under the law of that State or Territory; and (b) returned to the custody from which he or she escaped.
