#### 29 Certain provisions of Tokyo Convention to have force of law (1) The following provisions of the Tokyo Convention have the force of law: (a) the provisions of Chapter III; (b) the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 16; (c) the provisions of Chapter I, to the extent that they affect the application or interpretation of the provisions of Chapter III or paragraph 1 of Article 16. (2) For the purposes of a provision of the Tokyo Convention mentioned in subsection (1), an aircraft that is the subject of a notice given before, on or after the commencing day under Article 18 of the Convention is taken to be registered in the State designated in the notice. (3) For the purposes of section 38 of the Judiciary Act 1903, a matter arising under a provision of the Tokyo Convention mentioned in subsection (1) is taken not to be a matter arising directly under a treaty.
