16Presumption of jurisdiction

##### 16 Presumption of jurisdiction In any proceedings in which an act that is shown to have been committed is alleged to have been committed in the course of such a voyage, or in such a place, that a provision of the criminal laws in force in a State or Territory applies, or is deemed to have applied, by virtue of this Act to the act, it shall be presumed, unless the contrary is established, that the act was committed in the course of such a voyage or in such a place.
