114A Information about mercy petitions
> > (1) The publication or disclosure by or on behalf of the Attorney General of information relating to a mercy petition is not a contravention of the following—
> >
> > > (a) the [Criminal Records Act 1991](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1991-008),
> >
> > > (b) the [Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2002-071),
> >
> > > (c) the [Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1998-133),
> >
> > > (d) any other Act.

> > (2) In this section, mercy petition includes—
> >
> > > (a) a petition for a review of a conviction or sentence, or for the exercise of the Governor’s pardoning power, referred to in Division 2 of Part 7,
> >
> > > (b) any other petition for the exercise of the prerogative of mercy.

> > (3) Subsection (1) does not apply to the [Court Suppression and Non-publication Orders Act 2010](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2010-106).
