#### 76 Number of visits 76 Number of visits > > (1) An unconvicted inmate may be visited once as soon as practicable after reception into a correctional centre and afterwards at least twice weekly. > > > (2) A convicted inmate may be visited once as soon as practicable after conviction and afterwards at the intervals the governor determines. > > > (3) However, an extreme high risk restricted inmate may be visited once a week only, or more often if the Commissioner so determines. > > > (4) A civil inmate may be visited daily, as often and for so long as the governor determines. > > > (5) The governor of a correctional centre may permit additional visits to an inmate, particularly in the case of an inmate who is dangerously ill.
