#### 287 Inmates’ diet, exercise and treatment 287 Inmates’ diet, exercise and treatment > > (1) As soon as practicable after forming an opinion that an inmate’s diet, exercise or other treatment should be varied or modified for reasons of health, a prescribed health officer must report that he or she has formed the opinion, and the grounds for the opinion, to a prescribed CSNSW officer. > > > (2) On receiving a report referred to in subclause (1), the prescribed CSNSW officer— > > > > > (a) must take the steps that are reasonable to carry into effect any recommendation contained in the report, and > > > > > (b) in the case of a report with respect to a serious offender, must ensure that written particulars of the report are kept available for reference by the Review Council. > > > (3) If it is impracticable to carry a recommendation into effect, the prescribed CSNSW officer must report that fact to the Chief Executive, Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.
