#### 243 Community advisory councils 243 Community advisory councils > > (1) To assist in the monitoring of a managed correctional centre, and to encourage community involvement in the oversight of its management, the Minister is to appoint a community advisory council for the correctional centre. > > > (2) A community advisory council is to consist of persons the Minister considers to be suitably qualified to serve on the committee and to be suitably representative of the interests of the local community. > > > (3) The community advisory council is to make quarterly reports in writing to the Minister of its findings regarding the management of the correctional centre. > > > (4) (Repealed) > > **s 243:** Am 2008 No 17, Sch 1 \[24\].
