235B Commissioner’s instructions

235B Commissioner’s instructions

(1) The Commissioner may issue an instruction to the staff of Corrective Services NSW, including correctional officers, in relation to the management and control of Corrective Services NSW.

(2) An instruction must be consistent with the following—

(a) this Act,

(b) the regulations made under this Act,

(c) the Government Sector Employment Act 2013,

(d) the regulations and rules made under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

(3) Correctional officers and departmental officers must comply with the Commissioner’s instructions.

(4) The Commissioner may amend or revoke instructions.
