627 Criminal procedures, proceedings and sentences
(1) A summons issued for a youth offence is withdrawn and ceases to
have effect on the commencement day.
(2) A warrant issued for a youth offence is revoked and ceases to have
effect on the commencement day.
(3) A decision of a police officer to grant or refuse to grant bail to a
person for a youth offence ceases to have effect and the person is
entitled to be at liberty on the commencement day.
(4) A decision of a court to grant or refuse to grant bail to a person, or
otherwise remand a person, in a criminal proceeding for a youth
offence ceases to have effect and the person is entitled to be at liberty
on the commencement day.
(5) A criminal proceeding against a person for a youth offence is
discontinued on the commencement day.
(6) A sentence imposed on a person for a youth offence ends on the
commencement day.
