50 Definitions—pt 3 aggravated offence, for an offence involving family violence—see section 72AA (2). sexual intercourse means— (a) the penetration, to any extent, of the genitalia or anus of a person by any part of the body of another person, except if that penetration is carried out for a proper medical purpose or is otherwise authorised by law; or (b) the penetration, to any extent, of the genitalia or anus of a person by an object, being penetration carried out by another person, except if that penetration is carried out for a proper medical purpose or is otherwise authorised by law; or (c) the introduction of any part of the penis of a person into the mouth of another person; or (d) fellatio; or (e) cunnilingus; or (f) the continuation of sexual intercourse as defined in paragraph (a), (b), (c), (d) or (e). genitalia includes surgically constructed or altered genitalia. object includes an animal.
