294 Order of closing addresses
(1) In a trial on indictment, the closing address for the defence may be
given after the closing address for the prosecution.
(2) If, in the closing address for the defence in a trial on indictment,
relevant facts are asserted that are not supported by any evidence that
is before the jury, the prosecution may, with the leave of the court,
address the jury further in reply to any such assertion.
