283 Plea of autrefois convict etc
In any plea of autrefois convict, or of autrefois acquit, it shall be
sufficient for the accused to allege that he or she has been lawfully
convicted, or acquitted, as the case may be, of the offence charged in
the indictment, without specifying the time or place of the previous
conviction or acquittal.
