### sec.429 Refusal to comply with attendance notice for fear of reprisal
This section applies if—
before the commencement, a person was given an attendance notice under section 82; and
immediately before the commencement, the person had not complied with the attendance notice and had not been convicted of an offence against section 82(5).
Section 82, as amended by the Serious and Organised Crime Legislation Amendment Act 2016 , applies in relation to the attendance notice.

(sec.429-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, a person was given an attendance notice under section 82; and immediately before the commencement, the person had not complied with the attendance notice and had not been convicted of an offence against section 82(5).
(sec.429-ssec.2) Section 82, as amended by the Serious and Organised Crime Legislation Amendment Act 2016 , applies in relation to the attendance notice.
- (a) before the commencement, a person was given an attendance notice under section 82; and
- (b) immediately before the commencement, the person had not complied with the attendance notice and had not been convicted of an offence against section 82(5).
