45 Termination
(1) The Minister may terminate the appointment of an appointed Music Australia Council member: (a) for misbehaviour; or (b) if the member is unable to perform the duties of the member’s office because of physical or mental incapacity. (2) The Minister must terminate the appointment of an appointed Music Australia Council member if: (a) the member: (i) becomes bankrupt; or (ii) applies to take the benefit of any law for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors; or (iii) compounds with the member’s creditors; or (iv) makes an assignment of the member’s remuneration for the benefit of the member’s creditors; or (b) the member is absent, except on leave of absence, from 3 consecutive meetings of the Music Australia Council.
