(1) The Minister may grant a Co‑Chair of the First Nations Board leave of absence on the terms and conditions that the Minister determines. (2) The Co‑Chairs of the First Nations Board may grant leave of absence to any other First Nations Board member on the terms and conditions that the Co‑Chairs determine. (3) The Co‑Chairs of the First Nations Board must notify the Minister if the Co‑Chairs grant a First Nations Board member leave of absence for a period that exceeds 6 months.
