Tasmania regulation
This order says who counts as a “family” for the quarantine payment and liability rules in Part 6A of the COVID‑19 Disease Emergency Act 2020: people who entered the State within the same 14‑day period and are relatives (as defined) or who travelled together and were permitted to share a quarantine room (ss 3, 4(1)). It also allows one family member — if they are the first person recorded in the quarantine registration for that ≤14‑day period — to be required to pay quarantine costs for all family members quarantined that day (s 4(2)).
