784 Sale of land—certificate of sale result (1) Unless the court otherwise orders, the result of a sale of land by an order of the court must be certified— (a) for a public auction—by the real estate agent who conducted the sale; or (b) otherwise—by the person having the conduct of the sale or by the person’s solicitor. (2) The court may require that the certificate be verified by affidavit of the person certifying. Rule 785 (3) The person required to give the certificate under subrule (1) must file the certificate and affidavit (if any) not later than 7 days after the day of settlement of the sale.
