6810 Definitions—div 6.10.8
examination—
(a) means an examination of a person under an examination order;
and
(b) includes a proceeding for the taking of evidence of a person
conducted by a judicial authority of a place outside the ACT
(including outside Australia) under a letter of request issued
under an examination order.
examination order means an order—
(a) under rule 6813 (Order for taking evidence otherwise than at
trial); or
(b) under the Foreign Evidence Act 1994 (Cwlth), section 7 (Orders
for taking evidence abroad) or section 10 (Orders for taking
evidence abroad—inferior courts).
examiner, in relation to an examination, means the person before
whom the examination is to be conducted under the examination
order for the examination.
