6720 Affidavit—scandalous matter etc (1) If an affidavit contains irrelevant, offensive, oppressive, scandalous, or vexatious matter, the court may order that— (a) the matter be struck out; or (b) the affidavit be removed from the file; or (c) the affidavit be removed from the file and destroyed. (2) The court may make an order under this rule on the application of an interested party or on its own initiative.
