6437 Service on detainees served on a detainee must be served on the person in charge of the place where the detainee is being detained. Rule 6438 document, personal service of the document on a person under subrule (1) is taken to be personal service on the detainee. detainee means a person who is a full-time detainee under the Crimes (Sentence Administration) Act 2005. proceedings—application of pt 6.8) and see also r 4009 (Criminal proceedings—service of documents when unrepresented accused person in custody)).
