6302 Cause book
(1) The registrar may keep a cause book.
(2) The cause book—
(3) The registrar must record in the cause book, for each originating
process filed—
proceeding under rule 71 (Numbering etc of proceedings); and
(b) the date when—
(i) the process was filed in the court; or
(ii) if the proceeding was started by oral originating
application—the application was made; and
(c) the other information that the court directs; and
(d) any other information required under a territory law.
(4) The registrar must also include in the cause book any other
information required under a territory law.
Note Rule 3310 (Cross-vesting—procedure following transfer of proceeding
to court) requires certain information to be included in the cause book.
(5) The registrar may record any other information in the cause book.
(6) This rule applies only to the Supreme Court.
