6255 Registrar referring proceeding or issue to judicial officer
(1) If the jurisdiction of the court is to be, or is being, exercised in a
proceeding by the registrar, the registrar may refer the proceeding or
an issue in the proceeding to a judicial officer of the court if the
registrar considers that it would be appropriate for the proceeding or
issue to be decided by a judicial officer.
(2) If the registrar refers the proceeding to a judicial officer, the judicial
officer may—
(a) hear and decide the proceeding; or
(b) refer the proceeding back to the registrar and give the directions
(if any) the judicial officer considers appropriate in relation to
