6253 Registrar’s powers—subpoenas (1) This rule applies to a subpoena issued in a proceeding if the jurisdiction of the court in the proceeding is to be, or is being exercised, by the registrar. Rule 6254 (2) The registrar may hear and decide an objection under rule 6609 (Inspection of, and dealing with, subpoenaed documents and things produced otherwise than on attendance) in relation to the subpoena instead of referring the objection to the court.
