5858 Written cases—inspection
A written case cannot be inspected at the registry unless—
(a) all parties have filed their cases; or
(b) the appeal or application in which the written case is used has
been decided.

6000 Application—ch 6
(1) This chapter applies to every proceeding in the Supreme Court or
Magistrates Court to which these rules apply.
Note 1 Rule 4 (Application of rules) deals with the proceedings to which these
rules apply.
Note 2 The Magistrates Court includes the Childrens Court (see Magistrates
Court Act 1930, s 287)
(2) However, this chapter does not apply to a proceeding as far as—
(a) this chapter provides that it does not apply to the proceeding; or
(b) another chapter makes provision for the proceeding or provides
that this chapter does not apply to the proceeding; or
(c) another territory law provides that this chapter does not apply to
