5535 Appeals to Court of Appeal—order for production of
offender
(1) The Court of Appeal may make the following orders in relation to the
hearing of an application or appeal under this part in relation to a
conviction or sentence:
(a) an order requiring the production of a person who is in custody;
(b) an order about the continuing custody of a person who is in
custody.

(2) The Court of Appeal may order that the person in custody be
produced—

(3) The Court of Appeal may make an order under this rule on application
by a party to the application or appeal or on its own initiative.
