5137 Appeals to Supreme Court—written summary and list for
appeal hearing
(1) Each party to the appeal must prepare a written summary of
arguments in accordance with rule 5138 (Appeals to Supreme
Court—summaries of arguments) and a list of authorities, legislation
and texts in accordance with rule 5139 (Appeals to Supreme Court—
list of authorities, legislation and texts), unless the Supreme Court
Rule 5138
(2) At least 14 days before the day set for the start of the hearing of the
appeal, each appellant must—
(a) file in the Supreme Court the appellant’s summary and list, and
serve a copy of each on each other party to the appeal; and
(b) file in the court a copy of each authority and item of legislation
mentioned in the list.
(3) At least 7 days before the day set for the start of the hearing of the
appeal, each respondent must—
(a) file in the Supreme Court the respondent’s summary and list,
and serve a copy of each on each other party to the appeal; and
(b) file in the court a copy of each authority and item of legislation
mentioned in the list.
(4) At least 2 days before the day set for the start of the hearing of the
appeal, each appellant may file in the Supreme Court a written
summary of arguments in reply, and serve a copy on each other party
to the appeal.
