5002 Definitions—pt 5.1A
criminal appellate proceeding means an appellate proceeding in
relation to an acquittal, conviction or sentence.
relevant party in a criminal appellate proceeding, means—
(a) for a criminal appellate proceeding in relation to an acquittal—
the person who was acquitted; and
(b) for a criminal appellate proceeding in relation to a conviction—
the person against whom the conviction was recorded; and
(c) for a criminal appellate proceeding in relation to a sentence—
the person on whom the sentence was imposed.
