493 Admissions—orders on (1) If an admission is made by a party, whether in a pleading or otherwise, after the start of the proceeding, the court may, on another party’s application, make an order to which the party applying is entitled on the admission. (2) The court may give judgment or make another order even though other issues in the proceeding have not been decided. (3) If an application under this rule is made by a plaintiff, the court may, instead of assessing damages, enter judgment for the plaintiff against the defendant for damages to be assessed. Rule 500
