4731 Supreme Court criminal proceedings—appearance of
(1) This rule applies if the Magistrates Court commits an accused person
for trial or sentence in the Supreme Court.
(2) The registrar of the Supreme Court must give the registrar of the
Magistrates Court suitable dates for the proceeding to be listed in the

set 1 of the dates (the appearance date) for the accused person to
appear in the Supreme Court.
(4) If the accused person is granted bail, the court must require the
accused person, as a condition of the bail, to appear before the
