4000A Definitions—div 4.1.1A accused person means— (a) a person charged with an indictable offence— (i) who is committed to the Supreme Court for trial or sentence; or (ii) for whom an indictment has been filed in the Supreme Court; or (b) a defendant. criminal proceeding, in relation to a proceeding in the Supreme Court, does not include an application in relation to bail.
