3557 Judicial review—time for starting proceeding
(1) This rule applies in relation to an application for prerogative relief.
Note For an application for a statutory order of review, see the Judicial Review
Act, s 10 (Period in which application for order of review must be made).
(2) The application must be filed in the court not later than 60 days after
the day when the grounds for the grant of the relief sought first arose.
(3) If the relief sought is in relation to any order, conviction or other
proceeding, the day when the grounds for the grant of the relief first
arose is taken to be the day of the making of the order, conviction or
other proceeding.
(4) The court may extend the time mentioned in subrule (2) only in
special circumstances.
