3360 Disputed election—countercharges
(1) This rule applies if a defendant to an election application to which
rule 3359 applies intends to oppose the election application on a
ground not mentioned in the party’s statement (if any) under that rule.
(2) Not later than 7 days after the day the defendant files a notice of
intention to respond, the defendant must—
(a) file in the court a statement of the grounds on which the
defendant intends to rely in opposing the election application;
and
(b) serve a stamped copy of the statement on the plaintiff.
(3) The statement must set out the facts the defendant relies on with
sufficient particularity to identify the ground on which the defendant
opposes the election application.
