3310 Cross-vesting—procedure following transfer of
proceeding to court
(1) This rule applies if a proceeding is transferred to the court from
another court under a cross-vesting law.
(2) The registrar must—
(a) give a distinguishing number or other unique identifier to the
(b) record in the cause book—
(i) the distinguishing number or other unique identifier given
to the proceeding; and
(ii) the date when the proceeding was sent to the court; and
(iii) any other information that the court directs.
(3) The registrar must—
(a) give each party to the proceeding notice of the distinguishing
number or other unique identifier given to the proceeding; and

(b) direct each party to file in the court, not later than 7 days after
the day the proceeding is transferred to the court, a notice that
states the party’s address for service.
