3305 Cross-vesting—removal of proceedings
(1) This rule applies if the court makes an order under the Cross-vesting
Act, section 8 removing a proceeding from another ACT court or a
tribunal to the court.
(2) Immediately on the removal of the proceeding to the court, the court
may give a direction, make a decision or direct the parties to take a
step in the proceeding that the court considers appropriate.
(3) The court’s powers under subrule (2)—
(a) are in addition to the court’s powers under rule 3308 (Cross-
vesting—directions); and
(b) include power to give directions that could have been given by
the court or tribunal in which the proceeding was pending.
