3057 Administration by public trustee and guardian— renunciation of letters of administration by entitled people (a) a person died without leaving a will; and (b) the people primarily entitled to administration of the deceased person’s estate want to renounce their rights to letters of administration in favour of the public trustee and guardian. (2) The people must give the public trustee and guardian notice of renunciation by affidavit.
