3014 Grant of representation—no grant to executor etc who
has renounced
(1) A person may renounce probate of the will or administration of the
estate of a deceased person by affidavit.
Note See approved form 3.15 (Renunciation of probate) AF2017-171.
(2) If a person renounces probate of the will or administration of the
estate of a deceased person, the person must not be granted
representation of the estate in another capacity.
