277 Litigation guardian—liability for costs (1) A litigation guardian for a plaintiff is liable for any costs for which the plaintiff would have been liable if the plaintiff were not a person with a legal disability. Rule 278 (2) An order for costs against the plaintiff or the litigation guardian may be enforced against the litigation guardian. (3) A litigation guardian for a defendant is not liable for any costs in a proceeding unless the costs are incurred because of the litigation guardian’s negligence or misconduct.
