2623 Interpleader—default by claimant
(a) a claimant to the disputed property has been given appropriate
notice of the hearing of an application for interpleader relief; and
(b) the claimant does not appear at the hearing or does not comply
with an order made on an application for interpleader relief.
(2) The court may order that the claimant, and anyone claiming under the
claimant, be barred from prosecuting the claim against the applicant
and anyone claiming under the applicant.
(3) An order under subrule (2) does not affect the rights of the claimants
as between themselves.
