2505 Contempt—arrest warrant
(1) A warrant for the arrest and detention, or the arrest, of a person (the
respondent) under this division must be—
(a) addressed to an enforcement officer; and
(b) signed by a judicial officer of the court.
(2) Pending the court’s decision, if the respondent is arrested under a
warrant, the respondent must be held in a correctional centre or in any
other custody that is satisfactory to the enforcement officer.

(3) The enforcement officer may ask a police officer to help in the
exercise of the enforcement officer’s powers under the warrant.
(4) The police officer must give the enforcement officer the reasonable
help the enforcement officer requires, if it is practicable to give the
help.
(5) The enforcement officer or a police officer may deliver the
respondent to the person in charge of any correctional centre and the
person must receive and keep the respondent in custody until the court
or the enforcement officer otherwise directs.
