2503 Contempt—arrest warrant if respondent likely to abscond
etc
(a) an application for punishment of a person for contempt has been
filed in the court; and
(b) the court considers that the person is likely to abscond or
otherwise withdraw from the court’s jurisdiction.
(2) The court may issue a warrant for the person’s arrest and detention in
custody until the court hears the charge unless the person gives
security satisfactory to the court for the person’s appearance in court
in person to answer the charge and to submit to the court’s decision.
