241 Included or substituted defendant—filing and service of amended originating process If the court orders that a person be included or substituted as a defendant in the proceeding— (a) the plaintiff must— (i) file an amended originating process in the court; and Included or changed parties—future conduct of proceedings Division 2.4.4 Rule 242 (ii) serve the person with a sealed copy of the amended originating process in accordance with these rules as if the person were an original defendant to be served with the originating process; and Note An originating process must be served personally, unless otherwise provided by these rules (see r 54 (2) and r 61 (3)). See pt 6.8 (Service) about other ways an originating process may be served. (b) the person must file a notice of intention to respond or defence as required by the order.
