2366 Earnings redirection order—enforcement debtor changes or ceases employment (1) This rule applies if an enforcement debtor for whom an earnings redirection order is in force changes employer or ceases to be employed. (2) Not later than 7 days after the day the enforcement debtor changes employer or ceases employment, the enforcement debtor must tell the registrar and the enforcement creditor, in writing, the details of the debtor’s new employer or that the debtor has ceased employment. (3) If the registrar is told under subrule (2) that the enforcement debtor has changed employer, the court may, on its own initiative— (a) set aside the existing earnings redirection order; and (b) make a new earnings redirection order authorising redirection to the enforcement creditor of earnings of the enforcement debtor from the new employer.
