2230 Seizure and sale order—documents giving effect to sale (1) If land is sold at auction under a seizure and sale order, the enforcement officer and the purchaser must each sign an appropriate contract of sale immediately after the auction. (2) Unless the court otherwise orders, the settlement date under the contract of sale must not be later than 90 days after the day of the auction. (3) As soon as practicable after receiving payment in full for land sold under a seizure and sale order, an appropriate transfer prepared by the purchaser must be executed by the enforcement officer and given to the purchaser for the purpose of giving effect to the sale.
