2204 Seizure and sale order—assistance to enforcement debtor (1) If it appears to the enforcement officer executing a seizure and sale order that the enforcement debtor does not properly understand the nature of the order (for example, for language or cultural reasons or because of a disability), the enforcement officer must— (a) give the enforcement debtor written information about where the enforcement debtor may be able to obtain legal or financial advice and assistance in relation to the order; and (b) if the enforcement debtor has difficulty understanding the English language—seek the assistance of an interpreter to explain the situation to the enforcement debtor and ensure the enforcement debtor understands the information given under paragraph (a).
