216 Including defendants—identical interest in relief unnecessary (1) It is not necessary for every defendant to be interested in all the relief sought or in every cause of action included in a proceeding. (2) However, the court may make any order it considers appropriate to stop the defendant being prejudiced or put to expense by being required to attend any proceeding in which the defendant has no interest.
