1832 Costs—delay before registrar etc If, on an assessment before the registrar, a party or a legal practitioner acting for a party, puts another party to any unnecessary or improper expense or inconvenience because of neglect or delay, the registrar may— (a) order the first party to pay the costs, or part of the costs, of the proceeding before the registrar to any party; or (b) refuse to allow fees to which the practitioner would otherwise be entitled.
