1602 Judgments—several claims
(a) there is a claim by a plaintiff in a proceeding and a counterclaim
by a defendant in the proceeding; or
(b) there are several claims between the parties to a proceeding.
(2) The court may give judgment—
(a) for the balance only of the amounts awarded on the respective
claims between 2 or more parties; or
(b) in relation to each claim.
