1244 Expert reports admissible as evidence of opinion etc An expert report served under rule 1241 (Service of expert reports) is admissible as evidence of— (a) the author’s opinion; and (b) if the author’s direct oral evidence of a fact on which the opinion was formed would be admissible as evidence of that fact without further evidence (whether oral or otherwise)—that fact.
