1139 Default judgment—application of div 2.11.3 (1) Division 2.11.3 (other than a non-applied rule) applies to the undefended part of the claim as if it were a separate claim for relief. non-applied rule means any of the following rules: • rule 1116 (Application—div 2.11.3) • rule 1117 (When is a defendant in default—generally) • rule 1118 (Default judgment—generally) • rule 1121 (Default judgment for debt or liquidated demand— assessment of costs) • rule 1127 (Default judgment—costs only). (3) If the court enters judgment for the plaintiff against a defendant under this division, it must not make an order for costs in relation to the undefended part of the claim until judgment is entered on the defended part of the claim.
