68A Definitions—pt 7A and div 7A.1 (1) In this part: commissioner means the person appointed as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Young People Commissioner under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Young People Commissioner Act 2022, section 10. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child or young person means a child or young person who is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person—see the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Young People Commissioner Act 2022, dictionary. care and protection chapters means the care and protection chapters under the Children and Young People Act 2008. child—see the Children and Young People Act 2008, section 11. director-general means the director-general responsible for the Children and Young People Act 2008. young person—see the Children and Young People Act 2008, section 12.
